The CERT Program educates people about disaster preparedness and trains them in basic disaster response skills such as fire safety, light search and rescue and disaster medical operations.

CERT Training

Redmond CERT classes generally take place over eight Monday evenings from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm, with a final half-day disaster exercise on a Saturday.

We currently don’t have any classes scheduled, but if you would like to receive notification when registration is available, you can sign-up to be notified here.

Redmond Community Animal Response Team (Red-CART)

CERT graduates are working on plans to promote the well-being of animals in disaster.

Mission
To promote the safety and well-being of all animals who are or may be adversely affected during a disaster.

Vision

  • Promote the collaboration between emergency management, animal-care providers, animal owners, and Red-CART volunteers to improve our community's animal disaster response.

  • Promote personal responsibility of animal owners.

  • Recruit local community resources to define, develop, teach and implement an animal disaster response.
